Running 1:06:47 [3] 7.5 mi (8:54 / mi)

Run from The King Kong climbing centre in Keswick. A group run with the opportunity to try the new roc-lites and wear a Sunto Ambit. There was also a prize draw to win one out of the group running. I didn't win.

At the start one of the older guys was stating boldly that his son is the English fell champion and all three of his lads are almost unbeatable. The middle one (aged 12) was a nimble gazelle. I dug in hard and he pipped me to the top, the other two kids and the rest of the group were a long way off. The descent was a different story as I haven't done much fell running to develop the balls to descend yet. A really enjoyable run though and my stomach bug has cleared.

Arrived at the lakes for some walking and fell running. However developed a pretty nasty stomach bug just after arriving - vomiting and shitting through the eye of a needle. Ditched the tent an checked into b and b. Think it's my body's way of telling me I'm exhausted after 21 days of work.
