A great day as always. A pleasing performance. Before the start I had in the back of my mind to aim for 6 min miling, and I managed to dip just under that which is good. With increasing fitness in the last few weeks It felt good not to be the slowest Hallamshire by a long shot and enjoyed the battles with Mike and towards the end Matt. I gave just about everything I had today and I think sub 36 and maybe closer to 35.30 is a not too ambitious aim for Ribble Valley.

An exceedingly cold evening, temperatures getting towards zero celsius but the wind chill making it feel much colder. It started snowing on the warm down which was romantic. The senior men's group tonight consisted of me, Cameron and Connor so I just ran hard up each effort and stopped when they got to the top so we could stay in a group.
