Dark trail run with ba-ba. Really glad Nik was with me tonight, struggling for motivation and I think him the same. Felt awful throughout but enjoyed it nevertheless. A solid weeks training.

Jog down to WB Road after work - grim weather tonight.

Session of 5 * 2km on my own. Plan was to run these efforts at true, honest threshold pace and no harder. I managed this quite easily and the session felt very comfortable, just long. Having a few familiar faces round the track helps spur you on a bit. These sort of longer runs and reps in this zone is exactly what I need.

Times not flattering but just glad to get a session of this length in.

Session with Matt and Zac. Feeling quite string when running, working together with Matt and pushing ahead of him on reps 3+4. Feeling quicker on the 200's. 30s shouldn't feel like a sprint though!
