Black Fell Race - English Champs

First time on the fells for a while. A cracking day out. Kettlewell is a lovely little place to explore the dales from. I felt great before the start and secretly thought I’d have a stronger run than I did. Ran strong up the first climb along the trail. The terrain then changed and I moved back through the field slowly before settling with a group that were running around my pace. Enjoyed every second of the race. A dip in the river afterwards- got nipped by some big arse crayfish which Josh thought were lobster.

I’ll probably now get back to the road and track until September. From then on it will be operation OMM until October.
