Sunday Nov 10 #

9 AM

Running 1:46:18 [3] 15.03 mi (7:04 / mi)

Ladybower run with Hallamshire lads. Felt comfortable today throughout which is a good sign that I’m getting more comfortable with the longer runs. An absolutely stunning morning and a good group out including guest appearances from Aaron and his dogs.

Saturday Nov 9 #

9 AM

Running 1:03:51 [3] 9.4 mi (6:48 / mi)

Session

2 x 6 mins (2min) - on Endcliffe grass.
Parkrun - Hallam (1st) 16:49
4 x 30s hill sprints

Felt really strong today, after the first lap caught up the three guys that had gone off quite quick and opened up a 10-15 s lead on the second lap up through the park. Hill sprints afterwards just about finished me off. The session had it all.

Running Trail+terrain 1:53:05 [3] 11.78 mi (9:36 / mi)

Tom took us on a long one which subsequently meant there was no time for the pub. Rough and wet, feeling pretty battered by the end, especially after last nights session.

Running 12:45 [3] 1.72 mi (7:25 / mi)

Running 1:36:37 [3] 12.85 mi (7:31 / mi)

4 x mile (starting each rep at 6:05)

5.06, 5.15, 5.19,5.13

Started a bit quick, had a full minute recovery and then paid the price in the subsequent miles with ever shortening recoveries. A good session to get in the bag though as I usually adapt this session to get longer recoveries.
