Most people ride Tiger Mountain for the downhill. But I go for the climbing. Thanks to the addition of the Master Link and Easy Tiger trails, I can now get a good ride in and stick to trails that I like and that my bike is designed for. I can ride pretty gnarly trails on my XC race bike with 95mm travel, but I really have to focus and be dialed in. I don't find much fun in that. I could get a long travel bike that would let me just plow through the gnar, but where is the fun (i.e. skill) in that?
