Energy 7? Concentration: 9 first day I feel I rode well since my crash on 10/8. I was centered/balanced on the bike, and had good body/bike control. Conditions: early winter (insignificant mud but a lot of puddles, tons of leaves covering wet roots/rocks, good climbing grip) but felt like March (sun, then dark and rain, then sun and rain, then dark and hail, then sun and rain). It was beautiful!

Energy 9+ felt great, went easy Concentration 9 Conditions: hard to believe that just a week ago I was dealing with dust and gravel in every turn. Now the trail is damp and grippy, but there are leaves (and branches) almost totally covering the trail. Combined with the low light angle, that makes for tricky riding. No problem! I'm tired of riding hard anyway. It felt great to just ride without any thought as to how quick I was going. The leaves are tricky, but they are helping to make the mountains beautiful right now.

Not that I am hoping for clouds and rain!
