Sycamore-Park Pointe-Hatchery Beauty Contest. The Chinook Salmon is my favorite because some of them are as big as a small Barracuda. Coho win the beauty contest with their brilliant red coloration.

Grand Ridge RT-Duthie-Soaring Eagle-HPoint-PPointe Harvesting "new" bike energy and a multi-year first. Today was my first ride on my "A" mountain bike in three weeks. I should have been tired from three hard rides in a row, but I was psyched to ride my "new" bike, so I found some energy. Given the forecast, I doubt I will ride this bike for awhile, as I will be riding the winter MTB. I was passed while riding MTB for the first time in a long time. He was riding a hardtail, and he was riding it hard. I passed 14 riders, so at least the ratio was good.

Local climb (One and done) Maybe it was the knickers and cap? The plan was to do 3-4 solid climbs, but I have no interest in riding hard up a climb, even after two DOB's. It's that time of the year, as evidenced by the season's first time wearing of knickers and a cap. I'll get back to hard climbing in the spring.
