Long way to Issaquah Farmers Market with Tracy. First ride on ROD in 2017.

MTB 1:48:00 [4] 16.8 mi (9.3 mph) +3641ft

Olallie Great expectations are not always met. My goal was to PR the 6.5 mile full climb, but two big climbs this week at a really hard pace proved to be too much. Tuesday's fantastic ride and hard effort on over ten miles of climbing at Raging River should have been it for the week. I had some lower back ache, likely from doing too many core exercises yesterday. Note to self: don't do that. HR belt didn't work.

Grand Ridge-Duthie-Soaring Eagle Yesterday was all about riding hard, but today was just about riding. Actually, riding as easy as possible while riding 30m and some steep climbs. I hope to have good energy when I do another hard MTB ride on Friday. It was nice to get back on the "A" bike for the first time in almost two weeks.

Tuesday Sep 12 #

MTB 2:33:00 [4] 21.9 mi (8.6 mph) +4226ft
ahr:137 max:156 weight:147.2lbs shoes: SW MTB 2014 Bling

Rip-Roaring Raging River Not bad for the B bike on a B+ day. MAC may not be as smooth as the Tomcat, or handle or descend quite as well, but I conclusively proved to myself today that it is every bit as fast when I want it to be. It just takes a bit more work and focus. I felt pretty good, but not fully fresh. I faded a bit on the Up the Flow climb, but I still rode it well.

Walking 40:00 [1] 2.0 mi (3.0 mph) +200ft
shoes: Scott Kinabalu Supertrack

Monday Sep 11 #

Walking 54:00 [1] 3.4 mi (3.8 mph) +500ft
weight:148.4lbs (rest day) shoes: Scott Kinabalu Supertrack

Park Pointe-Sycamore Working on will power. I really wanted to get out and ride on such a perfect day, but I restrained myself. I have two very hard MTB rides on the agenda for Tuesday and Wednesday, and I'll enjoy them more with a rest day today.

Sunday Sep 10 #

Cycling 2:52:00 [3] 47.5 mi (16.6 mph) +2200ft
ahr:116 max:149 weight:148.4lbs shoes: SW road 2013

Redmond-Kirkland-BV-Newcastle-May Valley Every day has some kind of first. Not that I needed to, but today was the first time I wore a long sleeve jersey in a very, very, long time. I guess I am just looking forward to fall. It was also the first time I rode on May Valley in a while, and that is always pleasant on a Sunday.
