GR-Duthie-Soaring Eagle: How to turn a Ferrari bike into a Ferrari Formula One bike. Remove the rear suspension...I think of my XC race bikes as kind of two wheeled Ferrari's. Riding a XC hardtail turns it up a notch, even if the bike isn't quite as fast.

Grand Ridge: Riding the Harshtail. Scott brought his hardtail bike for me to ride. Somewhat surprisingly, I enjoyed it, mostly because I'm a lot better rider than the last time I rode a HT. I don't fit the demographic for the typical HT rider. That's never stopped me before, so I might have to get one.

Hatchery-Park Point-Sycamore: Lovely day for a walk, but another missed riding opportunity. With temps in the mid 50's, it would have been a nice riding window, but I still have some chest congestion. Of course, it did start raining before I got home, but that would not have deterred me on the bike.
