Park Pointe-High Point-Preston: Neither rain, nor snow, nor wind, or floods shall deter the delivery of the ride. But yesterday's record Issaquah flooding did deter me from riding until today. Other than a small creek in the middle of a trail, conditions were surprisingly good: wet, but no downed trees or landslides!

Grand Ridge RT-HP-PP: I prefer "not normal" over "abnormal" A friend who is a few years older than half my age recently paid me a compliment and told me that I was "not a normal old guy." There were a few other old guys out riding today. The only other riders I saw were two young dudes who were nice enough to step aside as I rode by them while they were walking up a steep section of a climb:) I don't know if the old guys were fellow "Not Normals."

Sunday Feb 2 #

MTB 1:30:00 [3] 19.5 mi (13.0 mph) +1327ft
ahr:116 max:131 weight:149.2lbs shoes: Comp MTB 2011

Park Pointe-High Point-Preston: Despite sunny blue skies, The Streak is sustained. Seattle tied a record of 28 days with measurable precip. in Jan. Thanks to an overnight shower that dropped .05" into our rain gauge, today makes 39 straight days at the house, dating back to a dry XMAS. Prior to that we had 19 straight days, for a total of 58 of the last 59! During a typical winter wet season, it usually rains every other day for a short time. Not this year.
