Grand Ridge RT-Duthie-Soaring Eagle "Wilderness" I rode for 1h 20m before I saw a rider, and he was not even on the bike (Duthie bench). I didn't see anybody at SE, and finally went by three riders standing by their bikes on a trail when I went back through Duthie. One rider rode towards me on my return trip up and over GR. I saw several hikers and runners, but I've seen more people on solo backcountry backpacking trips. SE fall: right rib bruise-upper left back bruise/swelling/lower right back bruise/swelling

ahr:110 max:129 weight:146.2lbs shoes: SW road 2013

Lake Samm loop: Nice stretch of riding, or a math problem? In the last nine days, I have done two road rides, taken two rest days, and ridden the mountain bike at the following trail systems: Tiger, Raging River, Olallie, and three times each at Grand Ridge, Duthie, and Soaring Eagle. Solution: I rode Tiger and Raging River the same day, and I ride GR-D-SE back to back from home.

Grand Ridge RT-Duthie-Soaring Eagle: Safe and Sound. When I get back from a ride, I leave Tracy a S&S message to let her know that I didn't Humpty Dumpty and am in one piece. It's a good thing I wasn't Unsafe and Unsound today, as Tracy is getting ready to get on an airplane and come home. I've missed her!

MTB 1:38:00 [4] 15.8 mi (9.7 mph) +3328ft
ahr:132 max:156 weight:147.4lbs shoes: SW MTB 2014 Bling

Olallie fitness check: 2021 Mental Milestone #1 complete. I confirmed that I have very good fitness for this time of the year. I made a solid effort today on the 1, 2, 4, and 5 mile climb segments. I'm just over 10% off my PR times, and today was not a PR effort level. Good fitness but only OK energy (plus the trail was getting crowded) convinced me to forgo my planned second trip to the snow line. Fantastic trail conditions. First trip to O since January.

Walking 45:00 [1] 2.7 mi (3.6 mph) +300ft
