Cycling 2:30:00 [4] 33.0 mi (13.2 mph) +4088ft
ahr:125 max:147 weight:151.4lbs shoes: SW EXOS 2022

TT-Somerset-HV-Summit-NGC-Montreaux: Last of the 4k days?Today had the best weather of my four riding days in a row. Two of them involved climbing over 4000', for a total of six so far this month. Given the dire forecast for next week, it's likely the end of the 4k days for Feb. Of course, this week's forecast was dismal as well...cE9 no fade Best I have felt on my 4th straight riding days. Temp of 45 degrees made the difference, as it was warmer than it has been. RE SS all climbs

Friday Feb 24 #

MTB 1:34:00 [3] 15.0 mi (9.6 mph) +1951ft
ahr:115 max:145 weight:152.2lbs shoes: SW MTB 2014 Bling

Grand Ridge: Still a little frost on the pumpkin. Despite leaving after noon, there were still frost patches left over from a pretty hard freeze-thaw cycle overnight. The resulting peanut butter mud is a potential nightmare, but I was able to skirt past the vast majority of it. More energy sapping cold. E? RE6-7

Thursday Feb 23 #

MTB-Gravel 1:01:00 [3] 12.7 mi (4:48 / mi) +1111ft 4:26 / mi
ahr:108 max:130 weight:150.8lbs shoes: SW MTB 2014 Bling

Local gravel, roads, and trails: Not crazy, but I'm a fool. A riding fool, that is! Definitely chilly today. E? Energy sapping cold! RE5-6

Wednesday Feb 22 #

Cycling 2:33:00 [4] 30.7 mi (12.0 mph) +4069ft
ahr:123 max:152 weight:152.6lbs shoes: SW EXOS 2022

Local climbing gym proximity: "Eyes on it" We can see the upper part of the Highlands from our living room, so I got the binoculars out to see if there was any snow on the roofs. I waited to leave until after the snow flurries stopped, and the temp hit 37 to ensure there were no icy patches. We live on Squak, and that was where I did my last climb. Can't get any closer than that! I hit 4k of vert as I rolled up to our mailbox. E9? Cold weather energy sap RE 8.3 all climbs, no fade

Tuesday Feb 21 #

Walking 44:00 [1] 2.7 mi (3.7 mph) +200ft
weight:153.6lbs (rest day) shoes: Hoka Bondi 6

Out and about with Tracy. Our third straight walking day.

Monday Feb 20 #

Walking 58:00 [2] 3.4 mi (3.5 mph) +578ft
weight:154.4lbs (rest day) shoes: Hoka Clifton 7

Squak Mountain Road Walk: More wind than rain. It rained a lot overnight, but not much so far today. I thought about riding, but a walk with Tracy was a better plan.

Sunday Feb 19 #

Walking 59:00 [1] 3.7 mi (3.8 mph) +200ft
weight:153.4lbs (rest day) shoes: Hoka Clifton 7

Targeted Walking. Tracy needed to pick up a few things (and Bischoff Lotus cookies for me:), so we took our walk to Target.
