Mercer Is-Seward-BOE-Cedar Grove: It would suck to live somewhere really windy. Unless sailing was all you lived for. Wyoming, west Texas, and south Florida come to mind, but only FL has the sailing part. Riding into a 10-15mph headwind on Issaquah-Hobart at the end of the ride wasn't fun, but that kind of wind isn't even thought of as wind in most locales. At least I was going downhill. cE6 RE 7 V02 max 48 superb

Cycling 2:11:00 [4] 31.6 mi (14.5 mph) +3363ft
ahr:130 max:160 weight:152.8lbs shoes: SW EXOS 2022

Cougar Climbs: Powerade. Dang, I had Gatorade and Body Armor in the bottles today. A little Powerade Mountain Berry Blast will surely get the numbers up on my new power meter. Today's Toughies: Horizon View/Summit/Sky Country TH/Cougar Towers/Somerset. cE8 RE 8-8.5 Garmin VO2 max "47 Superb" HView 219AW 11+m RPE 8.3=FTP 220-240?

ahr:126 max:148 weight:151.8lbs shoes: SW road 2013

MValley-Center Cycle-Coulon-Eastgate: It should be called an agemeter. I stopped by CCycle in the middle of my ride to pick up my new LOOK KEO Blade power meter pedals. I have not had a power meter on a bike in 15 years. I don't need to go back and look at ancient files to know that my power is a lot lower these days. It is truly shocking (and humbling and a little demoralizing) at just how much lower the numbers are! E? RE mostly 7 1st ride w/LOOK Keo Blade Dual Power Meter

Monday Jun 3 #

Walking 1:05:00 [1] 4.0 mi (3.7 mph) +237ft
weight:154.2lbs (rest day) shoes: Hoka Clifton 7

IConfluence Park-Gilman Village-XXX-Olde Town: Mini-break. I've been watching some of the French Open, so I've been hearing the term "mini-break." That is what I call three consecutive DOB's. When I can tell I need to recharge my battery, three rest days are in order. Funny how I seem to time that with a stretch of lousy weather.

Sunday Jun 2 #

Hiking 1:30:00 [2] 5.0 mi (3.3 mph) +810ft
(rest day) shoes: Hoka Clifton 9

High School-Adventure-Wetlands trails: Full (rain) kit deployment. I love to walk in the rain, so I have to have all of the goodies: Gore-tex jacket, pants, gloves, and socks. Snug as a bug.
