Run 15:00 [3] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: XA Gortex
Instead of driving to the gym today, I decided to run - it was a beautiful day and a good chance to try out my Foot Pod.
I pack things up and connected my Ambit 2 to the HR belt and Foot Pod. As I am running, I noticed that my cadence is all over the place: 50…80…0…96, etc.
Maybe my strides when running outside are in-consistence?
Maybe the Foot Pod can not register instantaneous cadence?
When I stopped at a light, I look down and realized that my Foot Pod was not on my shoe.
That was a confusing moment. Then… Eureka!
I had my Foot Pod on my gym shoes, which is in my back pack. So the cadence measured was from my pack bouncing up and down.
The Minister's Lesson Learned: Foot Pods work better when you attach them to your foot. :P
