Saturday Sep 23

Orienteering race (night-o) 1:23:16 [3] *** 8.5 km (9:48 / km)
spiked:12/15c
Finnish night-o champs (35/70). Basically I'm satisfied although I made some stupid mistakes in the end. I'm not better than this.
Running (road) warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Thursday Sep 21

Orienteering (night-o) 54:00 [2] *** 5 km (10:48 / km)
spiked:6/9c
Damn this is difficult...
Checking posts for an upcoming school-competition. Due to the time-constraints we did it at night. Good training for the Finnish champs on SAturday altough it didn't improve my confidence.

Sunday Sep 17

Orienteering race 47:14 [3] *** 5 km (9:27 / km)
spiked:14/17c
Finnish relay champs. Team DSQ.
Very nice technical orientering. Controls very tricky and required very detailed map reading all the way to the flag. Lost 3 min on one of the easiest posts as I read the map carelessly....

Due to tha last weeks flu I'm not in shape for hard running.

Wednesday Sep 13

Orienteering race (night-o) 46:30 [4] *** 5.1 km (9:07 / km)
spiked:13/15c
My third club championship this season. Night-o with mass start and short distances as the map was very small. Several classes had the same course and I managed to stay with the best runners until I hit my knee, lost contact but saw the bunch drifting to the left so I corrected to the right but too much, and ended up gettinglost on the next control. That ment s surpisingly big margin of 6 min up to the best for one sall misstake. Doesn't look good for the upcoming Finnish champs.

However, I'm almost recovered from my flu although I still sound like a steam train when running...
Running (road) warm up/down 15:00 [1]

Wednesday Sep 6

Orienteering 48:00 [1]
I was walking/running the short course (3,7 km) with a 15+ kg added weight on my shoulders. Stopped to play a little on the beach (wonderful course-setting) and to lay the puzzle at the controls.

Monday Sep 4

Ballgame 1:30:00 [2]
(sick)
I didn't get rid of my flu by playing football in the rain. Quite the contrary. Surprising?

Friday Sep 1

Note
(sick)
