Orienteering race 1:02:47 [3]9.4 km (6:41 / km)
spiked:17/20c
Running Tiomila's 6th leg at 6:35 in the morning. I never do these morning runs very well and this time was no exception. My legs were slow from the beginning and the technique was out of the box. I thought that with a good flow in the orienteering I could have done a good rece despite my lack of speed. Additionally, I almost broke my leg but got off with a bruised hip. The course was really dull and would have suited som 15-yera old running his first tiomila. Good for him.

Oh, the team got a dsq on the first post of the first leg!

Event: 10Mila 2006

Tuesday Apr 25

Running (woods) ((with map) 50:00 [2]
First o-training, without snow, this year. I still remember how to do it although I had the ordinary difficulties in concentrating. I had thought about it, but it was also the first time this year i was running with o-shoes. Consequently I have blisters. All in all it doesn't feel good for tiomila. I could have done without the last sling of flu.
