Note
Spent whole weekend taking care of the kids. To late to get in shape for Jukola, anyway. Remotely related to training, we got a bicycle-trailer that I just tried for a short distance. The kid fell asleep, so I can't have been to unpleasant.

Jukola-test with mass-start and butterflies. Good course with two 2 km legs and two sets of butterflies. The first one split the group and the second brought us at the back together again...

I was in terribly bad shape, apparently from dehydration despite the recent ancient advice from some masai warrior or whatever. I led the chasing group through the first butterflies but hit the wall immediately afterwards. Way too early...

One sligth misdirection in the first and a terribel misreading in the second butterfly. The rest was painful, including the blisters from the new o-shoes.

Luckily Jukola is run at night when its a bit cooler...
