Very tired from Thursday. Did not feel good in from the start but I was anyway fastest to the first post.. First half went well but then I made a two silly mistakes at easy controls and I got tired.

Club champs ultralong, mass-start with butterfly loops. Excellent course designed by Arvo Paulin.

Still pissed about my performance at Jukola, I decided to focus on orienteering and not give a damn about the others running. Due to the butterflies (and admittedly slowness) I was alone from post no 5. Managed to keep it together except for at the very end. Hurt my knee (the one that isn't injured) and my calf cramped (on the very last post). Totally drained of energy afterwards, so I was really on the limit of my abilities.

Any session in the evening after a long day at work and a long drive is difficult, but to do such a long course is just insane... Felt good, though!
