The spine orthopedist I went to see today (Dr. Early) says that surgery is not necessary to treat my scoliosis and hypokyphosis in the thoracic spine. He says that what I mostly need to avoid back pain are core strengthening exercises, which confirms the fact that Liz's physical therapy exercises and rock climbing are good for me at this time in my life. He also thinks that my wrist problems aren't connected to my spine problems. I take that last bit of information with a grain of salt.
