XC Ski 3:20:00 [2]

Headed up to Hardwood today with Memoo his little johnson. Conditions were wonderful and it made for a great day.

Friday Feb 24, 2006 #

XC Ski 2:00:00 [3]

Skiing at Albion hills today. Did about half classic and then half skate. Conditions for classic were not ideal with most of the course being just a big skating rink. It was fun to get out skate skiing again with proper boots.

Strength 1:00:00 [2]

Tried to do a weight workout at the gym in the hotel. Was interesting considering they only had limited equipment. However I did pretty well considering.

2 days in the Montreal Office has basically killed all motivation I might have had for stuff. I'm waiting see if either the engineering team just implodes upon itself, or if we actually figure out how to work together. Man this is very discuraging....

Cycling 1:00:00 [2]

Well this was interesting. I'm in Montreal right now for work and realized I didn't bring the proper running clothes (i.e. something wind proof for the boyz) so I headed down to the in hotel gym to try and workout. Got on the trainer (one of those weird recumbent ones) and tried to do the interval routine. It wasn't too bad, except the machine shut off after 20 minutes. So I started the routine again, this time for 40 minutes. We'll just log this whole thing as a level 2 for an hour.

Monday Feb 6, 2006 #

Note
(rest day)

Travel to Montreal, work, etc...

Saturday Feb 4, 2006 #

Cycling long 2:00:00 [2]

Rode out to Ashbridges Bay and back. Quite the head wind on the way out (I guess that's the storm they say is coming) made for a really fast ride home.

Personal Note: Slowly starting to think Eddie and I won't be able to race CARA as our attempts to find a teammate are not working. Sure they're lots of guys who want to do it, but no females. Well the good news is we can always go back and try to win Quest for a Cure which is about the same time, and a lot less money.
