I ended up with an annoying blister on the back of my heel from the snowshoe raid, so instead of running tonight I was back at the gym on the cycling trainer. Rode a steading pace increasing the level every 10 minutes.

After the RAID we headed up to North Bay to visit my friend Mike and his wife. They live right on Lake Nippissing so in the morning we headed out for a hike on the lake with our snowshoes, after the hike the rest of the morning was spent at the ice hut learning how to ice fish.

Snowshoe RAID with Tyson. We decided right out from the start to skip number 19 because we thought there wasn't time for all of them. In the end we got all of them, but that one. Oh well, still a great day and lots of fun.

XC Ski (Classic) 4:00:00 [3]

Up at Highlands Nordic. Pretty good day for a ski. Pixie came along for a bit and then went out later for a snowshoe. Fun day overall and the fact we were staying at Blue made the drive home even nicer. I think I could really enjoy living up there if I didn't then have to drive 2 hours to work.

Ran into Tina from Urban Voyager up there. She was telling me how her first time on skies was Jan 1st and she was signed up for the CSM. Seemed like she was going pretty good considering her steep learning curve.
