Tried to go to Rockway to ski this morning thinking it would be one of the last times I could do that. The track was very slippery from the warm weather. If they groom it again it would be good, but right now it was impossible to skate on. So came home and did a run instead.

With so much beautiful snow overnight I headed out the front door to ski. None of the roads had been plowed so it was great fun to ski up the road and around the park. The only issue was I had physio at 7:30 so couldn't stay out longer.

So one of the problems with Rockaway being a golf course is there is essentially nothing to block the wind. Today was one of those days where -11 was deceiving because the wind was soon bad. I only lasted 2 loops because I was so cold. Even a few hours later my hands were still tingling.

Pain in my left hip returned starting Friday overnight and been getting worse/constant. So we're backing off the running again.
