Legs were feeling sore from yesterday, so a short run today.

Ended up heading up to Mansfield to do the marathon race up there. The RD had a bit of a problem after the first loop when someone had played with his flags the night before. Otherwise a fun event. The RD was saying next year he's planning on doing a series of marathon events, sounds like fun.

My night lap was an interesting affair. Rain had just stopped but the whole first half of the course was like a bit ole skating rink. Just put it in cruise control and enjoyed the quite while trying to stake upright on my bike. Once you hit the pines then it got a lot better and you could dig into the corners again.

Not sure the time for this lap, number 4. Legs were starting to feel a bit tired on the hills this time around.

Very fun race with Bent and Ski Coach up in the Collingwood area. Would have enjoyed more real trekking/nav, but overall a lot of fun. Nice to see that certain races in Ontario are still going strong.

My sunburn has now turned to blisters on my shoulders. This really sucks. Lesson learned about trying to wear a lighter top in the heat, should have stuck with the normal t-shirts for the race.

We were doing ok until we hit the road run, and then the heat caught up with me. Ended up sick and sunburnt. Not a great race for me. Next time I don't think I'll race on the Saturday before the 6 hour.
