Running race 22:50:47 [5]

Lavaredo Ultra Trail.

Had some issues with my stomach during the race and ended up being sick twice. Even after that I still never felt great the whole time (there were some ups and some lows).

Kept pushing, although at around 80 km I did put some serious consideration into if I should stop or not. Decided to just keep moving forward even if it was at a slower pace. The highlites for me were seeing the 3 peaks of Laveredo as the sun came up and the hike up the valley with all the waterfalls.

I feel like I was stronger this time in the mountains compared to CCC, but they still kicked my ass.

On Wednesdays they offer Yoga in the park for free. I decided to try it out today at lunch, but given the weather it was Yoga in the park at the yoga studio.

Last night of ARK. Kids run the adventure run so there's time inbetween the start/end where there's not much for me to do.

So tonight I grabbed my tired friend and did some repeats up Chicopee. Got in 7 repeats before kids started to come back and I needed to help check them out at the end of the night.

Finished off the evening at the Bent Elbow with Patrick and Sally for some tasty food and beer. Sally and Patrick spent the time comparing their bumming around Canada/Australia stories (Sally in Australia and Patrick in Canada/US).

Running up in Hockey.

Started with a very fast loop with Bent and Goose. Refilled my water bottles and then headed out with WandaAR for a bit. The plan was to run into Bash and then run back with her to the parking lot. Was great to be able to do a long training run not by myself this time.
