Saturday Jul 30

Cycling long 8:00:00 [2]
Not all of the time was spent riding (i.e. changing a flat, waiting for someone), and thus the 2 rating. Still a good long, hard day in the saddle. Think I'm ready for Hot August Nights.

Friday Jul 29

Note
My lets are quite tight from the riding the last few days. Tomorrow's supposed to be a big ride so I've decided to rest today.

Thursday Jul 28

Cycling 1:40:00 [3]
Ride to work. Just beautiful out there today.
Cycling 1:40:00 [3]
Ride home from work. Didn't eat enough before the ride so was quite tired by the time I got home.

Wednesday Jul 27

Cycling warm up/down 25:00 [2]
Warmup before race.
Cycling race 52:00 [4]
New shocks and handle bar feel so good. Had a good race even though my legs are really tired right now.

Tuesday Jul 26

Running 1:00:00 [2]
Was going to ride to work today, but they're calling for severe thunderstorms this afternoon so I thought otherwise. Went for a nice run along the waterfront instead.
Weights 45:00 [3]
Standard cycling workout.

Monday Jul 25

Cycling warm up/down 35:00 [2]
Warmup/Cool down
Cycling intervals 45:00 [4]
6 x 45 sec sprints up a slight incline.
3 x 90 sec up hill at fast rate.

Sunday Jul 24

Cycling 2:00:00 [2]
Nice relaxing ride along the waterfront trail. And thus ends my off week.

Friday Jul 22

Running 1:00:00 [3]
Nice run along the canal.

Tuesday Jul 19

Weights 45:00 [2]
Standard cycling muscles workout.

Monday Jul 18

Running 50:00 [2]

Saturday Jul 16

Cycling long 2:40:00 [3]
Nice ride at Albion Hills with Memoo. Took him out for a lap of the OCUP course and then a lap of the 24 hours minus the new sections.
Cycling long 2:40:00 [2]
And after our group ride I then hopped back on the bike and road home. Took 50 to Major Mackenzie, to Weston Rd and then hopped on the paved Humber trail home.
C • Albion 1

Friday Jul 15

Note
Rest day. Muscles are pretty sore from weights and the race (never should have left it so long before going back to the gym).

Cycling race 50:00 [5]

Warmup for race.
Cycling race 2:34:00 [4]
Pretty good race over all. Fell once and ran out of water on the last lap. Luckily I could fill up at the aid station. Still caught the guy in front after stopping.

Saturday Jul 9

Cycling warm up/down 20:00 [2]
Warmup
Cycling intervals 50:00 [4]
6m on, 3 off x 6

Rest day I guess. Was going to go to the gym, but after Pixie stole my sandwich for her lunch she then took my backpack with my gym pass in it. :(

Thursday Jul 7

Running 1:00:00 [2]
Active recovery run along the lake.
C • Good luck. 2

Wednesday Jul 6

Cycling warm up/down 25:00 [2]
Cycling race 50:00 [5]
Beautiful race night. Not too hot, trails were just a little bit sticky so you could really lean in on the corners. Almost a perfect ride except for 2 corners I leaned a little to hard on.

Tuesday Jul 5

Cycling tempo 1:40:00 [3]
Ride to work.
Cycling 1:30:00 [2]
Ride home.

Monday Jul 4

Cycling warm up/down 30:00 [2]
Warm up/down.
Cycling 40:00 [3]
Power sprints, 25 pedal strokes all out, 4 sets of 5. 1 minute rest in between, 5 mintues rest between sets.

Saturday Jul 2

Cycling long 4:15:00 [3]
Waterfront trail to Don Valley trail, continuing on Leslie to Stouville road and home. Almost treed 2 casual riders who though "Cyclist on your left" meant they should make a sharp left turn.
C • Back...and no messing around! 1
