Last run with the pack before world's next weekend. Today I made sure the waterbottles I plan to use stay in the bottle holder without issues.

Since they say the whole course is covered in drinking water that doesn't need treating I plan to just use 2 bottles so I can refill quickly when I need to.

Ran down to Kolb park and back along the grand trail. Didn't wear the pack this time and the run felt nice and easy without it.

A nice after work ride in the countryside. I was planning to go longer, but was guilt tripped by a 3 year to be home in time to say good night to her.

Interval workout fail.

As I hit the start of the trail by Breithupt park to I was stung in the back of my head by a wasp or hornet (didn't actually see what it was as I tried desperately to get it off my head.

Given my history with wasps I stopped right there and walked home. Didn't think 40 minutes of hard intervals would be a good idea after that.

2 hours later I have a small rash on the side of my neck, but no major swelling.

Note

Kristen was away again this weekend so Aubrey and I went camping at Pinehurst Conservation Area. Even though there was no training this weekend for me I feel like there are some activites I could log.

- 2.5 k hike with Aubrey (i.e. Aubrey was in a carrier on my back taking a nap)
- Paddle boating on the lake (guess which one of us has to do all the paddling).

Took today off, so got out to the hydrocut for a run this morning. Did this run with full pack, also tried the front waterbottle which worked really well.

1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 with 1 min recovery in between.
