Out on the mountain bike in the afternoon. A cold headwind on the way out of town was giving me an ice cream headache. Once I hit the turn around I was definitely warmer. Still pretty chilly out today.

Strength (TRX) 25:00 [1]

Standard TRX at lunch. What started as something I do myself, turned into something I do with a co-worked twice a week, which was great because it helps a lot with the motivation since we have a schedule we stick with.

I guess he's been talking with some guys on his hockey team so now there's 4 of us doing it regularly.

On a related note last night was a standard work out I do every so often to simulate big climbs using a treadmill since there's nothing that big around here. I noticed last night that I was doing the same speed/incline that I normally do, but I didn't feel like I was working as hard. I'll have to up the workout next time I do it, but it also got me wondering if some of the squat related work I do with the TRX is starting to show through in a tangible way.

5 x 4min hill repeats on the treadmill after work. 8 to 9 percent grad and 6 mph.

Run before work with my pack and then into work. The run was a little longer than recorded as I was trying some stuff out with waterbottle holders. They weren't working so had to stop to take them off. I think in the end the simplest solution will work the best.

Out at RIDE with the normal Tuesday night group. I was replacing Eddie and I think I did him proud. I wasn't that far behind Harper for the first hour, and then I passed him at the 1 hour mark. He never recovered after that pass and I was able to hold him off until the end.
