Event: Raid the Rib

Super fun Raid the Rib down in Niagara. This race felt like a real adventure with the weather, terrain, course all out together. Raced with Tom and Chris and we all had a lot of fun and worked well as a team. I figured we'd be about 30 min back of the winners and in around 3 and a half hours. Well we held true to the first part of that, but we're out longer than I expected. I ended up running out of food and finished the race with a bag of ringelos to munch on. Glad to get out for the training. This was a real confidence boost building up for my spring ultras.

Aubrey was excited that I could now belay so we went back today together. They also had an Easter egg hunt going on so that was also exciting for her. We were there for 2 and a half hours, but the time above covers what I got to do.

Took a belay course so Aubrey and I can do more routes at the gym. After the course was done one other class member and myself climbed for a while to practice.

Lighter ride on the trainer, which was broken up into 2 parts, before Aubrey woke up and afterwards. Break in-between to fix her some fruit/tv shows so I could continue.
