Cycling 1:33:00 [3]

Originally had planned to get up Sunday and ride the new mountain bike and then take this week off to rest/recover for Mohican. Aubrey ended up being sick through the night on Saturday so between the lack of sleep and wanted to be around to help out postponed the ride to today. Rode down to Chicopee via the Grand Valley trail (a combination of single track, double track and some roads to put it all together) and then turned around to come home. The new ride feels good.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Running with my tired friend. Last run before Mohican and wanted it to be a good one.

Running tempo 17:30 [4]

Last 20 min the goal was to run a tempo with the tire. Was pretty wrecked by the end, but felt good throughout. Even did a negative split on my out and back.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

Fun night out at Chicopee especially since the rain held off. First I got to run with one of the kids for the second half of their adventure run, I really enjoyed this because she's a strong runner (never walked climbing Chicopee multiple times), but is still learning a lot with the Nav so we stopped a few times to discuss the map and what she was doing. Then headed out to pick up controls which took longer than expected because I kept finding kids who had separated from the group and were late getting back and I'd have to re-trace my steps to find their partner to make sure they got back as well. Finally, after a few half pints and some nachos I got to do a short, but tough on my stomach run after dropping the rental car off back to the house.
