Note

Next weekend I'm headed down to Auburn for the Western States training runs. Chance to run 70 miles of the course over 3 days. For day one part of the description goes like this, "This section will acquaint you with the canyons and the two most difficult climbs of the entire Run (Devil’s Thumb and Michigan Bluff). Depending on the weather, the run may also help acquaint you with the heat you are likely to experience in the canyons on Race Day."

I checked the weather for next week yesterday.

33C, 35C and 36C.

That statement above may be more applicable than I first thought.

Had hoped to do more of a workout before ARX, but it took a while to setup the game for the kids. Did 3 repeats of Chicopee with the time I had left. As able to run about half way up and then had to hike the rest. Legs were pretty tired tonight. Still good to do whatever I can.
