First 20 km wasn't bad, but there was a second into the wind with a slight downhill every lap so that started to hurt. I found 27 to 38 km probably the hardest. I was running out of water after three laps on the trail/road and starting to see a few people on the trail so headed home to pick up another waterbottle. I have 5.5 km to go after a stop in at home, so grabbed a hand held and did the last bit around the neighbourhood.
This was as much a mental challenge for me as a physical one so glad to have done it and also to be done now.
