So went to the gym and hit the track for the usual 10-15 minutes of running but once I started I had a stabbing pain in my lower back. That's new! So walked instead and then upstairs to the gym where I did all arms and then about 15mins of stretching.

Had an appointment with an RMT for a deep tissue massage tonight. I think this was the answer, not physio so much. He asked if the stretches I've been doing from physio help, and they don't really. So 30mins of fairly intense massage later feeling a lot lighter somehow.

A lot of easy stretching and simple core work. Back is super stiff. Need to get it in shape for skiing out west next week!

Note

Spent 8 hours teaching skiing today. Actually moved around a lot which was nice for a change. Snow is in excellent condition @Nakk.
Very sore from yesterday at gym and back is feeling like it's back at square one. :(

Jeff Teutsch and I put on a training event out in Arnprior for OOC and new Arnprior orienteers. It was held at the Nick Smith Centre, which will be the event centre for NAOC2014!

Ski with CU from Asticou to the bottom of Pink and return, all via #5. Glide was great through a bit of powder.
Very sore back after this.
