RALF training at the S'plex with an old course and (even older) map. 1min active recovery breaks in between groups of 3-4 controls. Last control leg faster. Then 2.5 loops of field. Legs felt really heavy, good thing I had Cathy pulling me along... again. :)

Finishing off control placement at March Highlands for this morning's event.

Ended up being a perfect day for it. New record of 157 starts (probably 200 people) for a local B-meet. Good feedback from runners. Lots of support from club-mates. Awesome day overall. AND was able to collect all controls same-day. Ysssssss!

Solo-canoe on the Carp River from Carp Rd. to Galetta. Lots of time to practice and get used to the boat again. Class I and II only but still felt really shaky.

Tried yet another Instructor this morning and she was great! Background in kinesiology and a personal trainer. She explained simple things with a lot more detail than I've ever heard them explained and I felt like I got a lot more out of the postures. Just 1 week left on my unlimited pass so I'll have a chance to try a couple more Instructors.

Back out with the RALF'ers again.
Tonight's workout included warmup to Woodroffe, side-hill laps, mapped control legs with route choice of wet, soggy, or ankle-deep, then 6x track (all evenly paced for me).
Happy to be back into this routine and to run with everyone again.
Really needing new shoes, should be arriving this week.

A very relaxed ski, with lots of exploring. Over-klister'ed, oops.
P7 up Ridge to swamp before Gossip, linked to 11, 8, Frank's, some crust, back to Ridge and down 30.
Quite slushy, quicker in the shadows, overall good.
