Running 1:15:00 [4]
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212
I forgot my good watch so I don't have total time or split time. I'll go by memory...
The weather was HOT, windy and slightly humid. Not much shade.
Warm up was run over to High School with 1 loop around it climbing/descending each staircase.
2 x 1 minute run (trying to cover longer distance in second lap); 1 min rest in between.
2 x 2 minute run (same deal); 2 minute rest in between.
6 minutes on the track: 200 on, 200 off. I did 200 on, then 200 off, then major side stitch, then 200 on-ish, the 200 off then about 50m on by the time 6 minutes were up.
Same 1-2 min drill as above. This time slower by about 50m each leg.
4 minutes on th track: 3/4 of track on, 1/4 off. I can't even remember what happened here. By this point I was exhausted and half-assed the rest of the workout. I think the first 3/4 went ok, then off (walking this time) for 1/4, then on for about 1/4 and return. Oof!
Same 1-2 min drill as above. This time was about the same as the second time. Actually, it felt better than the second time.
3 minutes on the track. No recollection of this. Not a clue. I think I ran the whole thing (?). Ya, that seems right, just really slowly. Covered maybe 1.5 loops. Did I mention it was hot out?
Cool down walk back to the car. Found a sprinkler on the way but chickened out running right across the property. :)
Really happy I was able to make it out tonight.
