Overall good race but terrible time to #12 and the usual amount of hesitation on the longer legs. #12 was exactly where I got lost the last time I was in that part of the woods. Almost a perfect figure-8.

From home, Allum., McConnell, forest. Certainly faster than usual but not painfully-so. Average pace (not incl. walk to cool down) was 5:55/km.

March Highlands, ran with Emil as there were very few maps left. Alternated navigation each leg. Good course, nice and swampy. Legs felt surprisingly good after the long run yesterday.

From home, up to the park, around Pink Lake, home via Gamelin (unfortunately the water fountain is still closed). Total trail: 17km, 3km bike path and sidewalk.

6x400m hills. Used the paved road up to home, split into two. 20sec rest halfway up, active recovery 800m back down to start after every pair.

5x3min at best effort. “Best effort” tonight was a sluggish, only a bit faster than the usual, run.

Active recovery between each.
Tons of runners and cyclists along the river tonight. Beautiful weather.

Tonight's run from home, backwards loop from usual. Slow and steady. Stopped a couple times, some walking, bushwhacking around flooded bike-path.
Did not eat properly today (led an NCCP course all day) so felt rather barfy once home. Oops.
