Achilles bothering me a bit but overall I felt really solid. Better than yesterday but a bit colder. Nice to be out on this trail. Absolutely love it!

NF-370 - Metolius-Windigo (w/ a little bit of Mrazek and more road)

Camped out off of FS-370 past Todd Lake. Killer spot! Plan was to run Broken Top but having done Green Lakes and Park Meadow I decided to go the other way and hit Metolius-Windigo toward Three Creeks Lake. Loved being up there but not the most "runner friendly" trail especially once you start the trailhead going up to Three Creeks Lake. Trail was not maintained, tons of blow down and tons of sand sections. The views were not as spectacular with it looking a bit dead. I accidentally took the trail heading down Mrazek and knew it wasn't right and turned back. You can easily miss the trail heading up to Three Creeks. I cut run short because the air was a bit smokey and I started to have a harder time breathing. Time includes some stopping to refill water.

Feel solid! No soreness. I feel like I want to go run another 50 miles. If smoke clears from the fires I'm seriously thinking of running the Mt Hood 41 mile loop this weekend. Try to get in as much mountain time before summer ends.
