Hip still very sore from last weekends fall so I was not going to be competitive at any level. Straight but slow for the first three then deviated way left for 4 ?? A brain fade early? For some strange reason 7 was my best leg - perhaps less hesitant. Eight resulted in a huge deviation to the right and crossing an open area not knowing where I was. Eventually crossed a saddle and followed the creek down to the control. To 9 drawn to the visible control despite knowing it was too close. To 10 navigated well through the thicker vegetation and did not have the problem of others. To 15 drawn stupidly to a visible control not on my course - quickly corrected. Crawl up the hill to the Finish.
Note half the time around the course I tried to work out where the new map fitted to the old one. It is obvious when stopped and calm but not so on the run - unnecessary distraction.
