Hockey 1:10:00 [5]

Grand final against host NSW. A tough game with some strategy employed. I ended up effectively marking one of their better players. Some questionable umpiring decisions resulting two of our goals negated. Two send offs also did not help as this is when NSW scored. An enjoyable carnival. Not looking forward to next week while the body recovers

Semi- Final against Victoria. Winner into the Grand Final. We seemed to control the play and give them little room but it took 20m to score the first goal. 1-0 up at half time. We ground them down and put in a number of good team goals. Final score 5-0. I personally had a good game but missed an easy open goal.

Game 6 against NSW - the last of the round robin. A tough encounter. NSW brought there A game against us and appeared to have been foxing against other weaker sides. We were 2-1 up but they wore us down and we finished 2-5 down. We will have to use different strategies to beat them again if we meet them in the Grand Final. We finished second on the table. A semi final against Vic first. Quite tired after each individual sprint.

Walking 2:00:00 [2] 1.8 km (0.9 kph) +135m

Sydney Harbour Bridge climb. Worth doing despite the elaborate safety routine. Todays climb made even more interesting by 50-60km/h winds on top. Apparently they only close the climb when winds are 80k/h. Lighter hip pocket at the end of it.

Hockey 1:10:00 [4]

Game 5 against WA Country. Always a hard game against these guys as most carry a chip on their shoulders. Some of them missed out on the city team selection. Despite the non contact sport some "football" style tackles were evident. It was not a pretty game with a lot of tiredness evident after yesterdays super game. Ended up 3-0 in our favour. This leaves the top of the table clash against NSW on Wednesday as the last game in the round robin before the finals
