Running long (Recce Route) 40:00 [4] 7.0 km (5:43 / km) +150m 5:10 / km
shoes: Walsh PB

Recce of the English Schools Fell Running Championships route

Although had to go a different way at first as it was all across farmers fields and I got stuck in the gorse bushes trying to get out. :(

Glad I did it, even though I run there all the time it was good to see what it was like at that speed ect. looks a bit precarious in some places though..

10 AM

Orienteering (Long) warm up/down 25:00 [2]
shoes: Inov-8 280

average warm up and down

crap warm up area : as usual
11 AM

Orienteering (Long) race 1:01:20 [4] **** 4.2 km (14:36 / km) +200m 11:48 / km
spiked:22/18c shoes: Inov-8 280

Selection race for interland.

Literally the worst area ever :( luckily it didnt rain or I would have hated it. Really wanted to just run but spent most of my time having to bend down between the tight tree's.

Made a few bad route choices but no major mistakes,
#1 went on the wrong path and hit it too long
#6 got confused though it was open when it wasnt but found the wall and hopped down
# 7 bad route choice, wrong side of hill
#14 extremly bad route choice, spent 8 mins on a control which should have took me about 4, also went to #7 before it aswel :L

although I came 5th which was okay ... although some absolute idiot was really annoying (naming no names ) and was being a total bitch so I was having a bit of a rant afterwards...

P.E. 50:00 [2]

Dodgeball

Won 5/6 :)
1 PM

P.E. 50:00 [4]

Fitness - Step-aerobics

:) Felt tired though
5 PM

Running tempo 35:00 [4] 6.0 km (5:50 / km)
(injured) shoes: New Balance 740 Running

Tempo-ish 35ish minutes

Kind of Kenyan although I didnt do such a long warm up or cool down as normal, more of a average 'middle distance race' training run. Planning on doing more of these, perhaps shorter though, runners world seems to like it.

Went up the lane from my house, though deanscales, round past eaglesfield crag and the creepy farm. :) Had to take the dog which was annoying as it slows me down..

Also wore my insoles for the first time running in ages so was taking it slow for them to settle and my feet hurt again hense the 'injured'

P.E. 50:00 [2]

GCSE
Gymnastics and Anilising Performance :)
6 PM

Orienteering (Sprint) race (WCOC Sprint ) 22:42 [4] ** 3.5 km (6:29 / km) +80m 5:49 / km
spiked:19/19c shoes: New Balance 740 Running

WCOC Sprint in Harris Park, Cockermouth

Wore my road trainers which was a big mistake, luckily it was my old ones :) Slipped all over the place and really slowed my down as most of it was school o' style on a field across the river rather than the hilly park bit.

Was fun, even though the weather is still horrible! :)
