another case of 'if I hadn't pre-entered, I wouldn't have gone' - really hoped to have recovered enough to last the course, but the run didn't loosen the cough, felt inhibited by it, ran out of mental strength as much as physical strength after 40+mins, did one more long leg and then jogged/walked to the finish

and my incomplete array of punches confused Michael Napier's system and dumped my splits onto the Blue course ?!

good course, Jay-T

up-dating the Hagg (Crich Chase), that muddy, thorny bit in the SE, wore the heart rate monitor and it estimated training value in the range of 1.2 - 1.4

Note
(sick)

yep, the cold arrives in proper, sore throat and hacking cough, I've had worse, but it's bad enough

Belper Urban, MV
sore throat developed yesterday afternoon, if I hadn't pre-entered, I may not have run, but didn't feel too bad and the sun was out and it was my friend's event so ... found myself leading through the wooded section, but a few minutes later I could tell I wasn't up to form, gradually lost touch, kept going and benefited from the long time out, overtaken on the last hill by someone from LEI (Jamie Rennie?)

could've been in the race if I'd been healthy
