Stanton Tentacles
up and down Stanton Moor in a winter wonderland of frosted trees and heather, aimed for a very steady 5.30p/km, hit that mark, but guess what HR says I was over-reaching again (5) - WTF!

Note

looking over previous recording of HR (2+years ago), my runs frequently had a top rate of 160 something, but the average was lower than now, either 130 or 140, unless it was a race or intervals, so ...

I haven't fully recovered from the cold

a tempo run to test the heart rate ... and the HR says 5 (over-reach), pretty good pace though, a tiny fraction slower than the last outing

nice and steady, didn't struggle at all, but slow, 20secs slower up the first hill than recently (when I have struggled)

different route with a few pauses for map consultation, not much left after 65mins, very slow thereafter
(again Garmin says training effect was 5, over-reaching)
