sisters told me I had to run before lunch so I did though I was feeling pretty out of it, took it easy up the hill but managed one of my faster splits (7.53), kept a good pace from then on and dipped under 5mins p/km, surprising

pretty straightforward, feared I was coming down with a cold but felt strong when I got out there, main challenge was maintaining concentration under sustained verbal abuse from an irate woman - "stop fucking running" - and adapting to the out-of-date/idiosyncratic mapping, couple of hesitations in the circle

1st, 2mins ahead of Chas
(most, but not all, of which was due to diversion caused by irate woman: she made me run faster and I found a way through the grot)
