felt slow, was slow, but at least persisted up the hill near the end, course was moderately interesing until we crossed back over the river, then just a route up between castle and cathedral with controls on the way

6th, 7mins behind Charlotte Ward, 6 behind Martin (!), also 11secs behind Gavin Clegg (?!)

13mins steady around Morledge before intervals on cycle path: 4 x 1km (off 90 secs):

pleased to have completed the plan, fought with myself on the third km, hence the lost seconds

Turbo/Cycling 25:15 [3] 11.0 km (2:18 / km)

turbo session: ten mins in low gear, increased resistance for 8mins, then again for 4mins, all at 85rpm, finally back to low resistance for 3mins warm down (around 80rpm)

the 4mins at higher resistance represents good training value
