SYO Anniversary event, Big Moor
as if to tell me I'm back at the level of performance of ten years ago, SYO hand out a 1:15k map and say read that, waste of time; GPS trace has some nice straight lines, but a cocktail of annoyance and scale led to an embarrassing 3+min error on an easy leg—the preceding control was on a re-entrant barely visible to the human eye, also areas of fast open on the map were 5% faster than the surrounding moor, not happy!
