Swimming 1:20:00 [3]

First swim out with the LOST gang at the Oakville Y since the spring. This was really difficult. I barely hung on for the whole workout. Swam about 4 km which is more than I've done in 6-7 months.

Kick-Start OCUP. A really fun course. I pushed hard and made quite a few mistakes out there, but no disasters. Nice conditions too. Enough snow to make the forest look beautiful, but not deep at all.

I put out several CPs for Val and Nick. Feet were frozen. It was nice to get dressed warmly afterwards and then take the boys out for Starry Night. John did quite well. He did the first 6 controls, and managed 3 of those without any help. Paul was exhausted and at the end announced he was never doing a race again, despite the fact that he was on my shoulders the whole time.
