Pain and swelling were down by Friday, so I ran twice over the weekend. Felt ok. Broken finger is still swollen, but it doesn't really hurt.

Went to the fracture clinic on Monday and it is a chip fracture where the ligament pulled a small chunk out of the bone. Very typical and will heal fine. One more week in the splint full time, and then I start transitioning out of the splint.

Fell running downhill on some single track. Broke my index finger on my dominant hand. Chip fracture. Have a splint for now. \they considered a cast but decided to leave it. supposed to see a specialist on monday. hopefully everything is ok. i'm avoiding all activity until then. i do not want to interupt the healing. ....sigh

First wetsuit swim in Lake O. I need to use this thing 20-30 times to justify the cost. 30 times pays for it by the avoided pool fees, and 20 times if I give some extra value to being outside and not bathed in chlorine. It is nice to be out in the lake, but the wetsuit definitely feels like cheating to me.
