GRR race. Conditions were better than I expected. Good weather, and the trails were decent considering all the rain that came this week. Great team. We were well matched physically, had some interesting route choice debates, navigated together, and managed to run pretty clean. Nice work by DGL on the course.

Bit off more than I could chew. I had no real plan, and the trail conditions were great, so I decided to go a 'little' further than usual. I should have thought that one out a bit better. I felt good for the first 3 hours, but the last 4 km were on a flat road and it took me 30 minutes with plenty of walking. As usual, I had started my run without breakfast and took no food or water. That usually works well for me, but I found my limit today.
