Another lousy week. I had my flu shots on tuesday and was instructed not to exercise for 2 days. After that I promptly came down with a cold. I am really out of shape. The ski adventure race is going to be really tough.

It has been a busy week travelling around Saskatchewan. I ran from the airport hotel to downtown Saskatoon well before dawn in some amazing fog. I found some nice trails on the east side of the river along the university campus. The river seems nice, but I couldn't see much.

Quite sore Mon-Tues. I saw the PT on Wed. I've strained my glut and hamstring on my right side. PT gave me some stretches and strength exercises to do. Too sore to start the strength.
It has been a long time since I've been in a pool. My arms will be very sore tomorrow.

Thomass Chase. Great course. I unintentionally skipped a control in the sprint. I think I would have had a good run otherwise. Goofed cp 5 in the 2nd race. I really enjoyed the box in the 2nd race. Great choices.

This was a lousy week for running. My knee, calf and hamstring on my right leg have been bothering me since I fell on monday. No pain while cycling yesterday and the run today felt ok, but I have some unsettling cracking in my knee when I bend it 'just so'. It sounds unpleasant but it doesn't hurt at all, so hopefully it is nothing to worry about.

I fell and twisted my leg painfully on Monday, but I didn't think much of it since I felt fine after continuing with the run. Today it feels like I pulled something.
