Note

I fell quite sick Wednesday evening. It has been a long time since I've been this sick. I feel like I was hit by a bus. Obviously, I didn't plan a week with no activity, but at this point I just hope I'm feeling before our vacation which starts on Friday.

Blue Mtn 50 km. I had a lot more fun than I expected, which was due in large part to running most of the race with Eddie and Bill. Eddie and I were together for the first 38 km or so, and it was a huge benefit to me. The time went by quickly and he helped me avoid some wrong turns. After 40 km, I pushed the pace, and finished feeling ok.

The first place runner was in a class of his own. More than an hour ahead of the rest of the field. Apparently, he is a 2:25 road marathoner, and clearly had no equal out there.
